कांग्रेस के 133वें स्थापना दिवस के मौके पर पार्टी अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने मोदी सरकार पर निशाना साधा. उन्होंने इस मौके पर कहा कि राजनीतिक लाभ के लिए बीजेपी झूठ बोलती है. राहुल ने कहा, अंबेडकर का दिया संविधान आज खतरे में है. हमारा संविधान, जोकि हमारे देश की नींव है वो आज खतरे में है. बीजेपी के वरिष्ठ नेता इसे लेकर सीधे बयान दे रहे हैं. संविधान पर चोरी-छिपे पीछे से हमला किया जा रहा है. ये हमारी, कांग्रेस पार्टी और हर एक भारतीय ड्यूटी है कि हम अपने संविधान की रक्षा करें।

आपको बता दें कि हाल ही में केंद्रीय मंत्री अनंत कुमार हेगड़े ने कहा था कि हम संविधान बदलने के लिए सत्ता में आए हैं. उन्होंने कहा था कि वह संविधान का सम्मान करते हैं, लेकिन आने वाले दिनों में ये बदलेगा. हम उसी के लिए यहां हैं और इसलिए हम आए हैं.

उन्होंने धर्मनिरपेक्ष लोगों का उपहास उड़ाने वाला बयान देकर एक और विवाद को जन्म दे दिया है. उन्होंने कहा था कि धर्मनिरपेक्ष लोग अपनी जड़ों से अनजान होते हैं. कर्नाटक से पांच बार के लोकसभा सदस्य हेगड़े ने कहा कि यह नई परंपरा चलन में है जिसमें लोग खुद को धर्मनिरपेक्ष बताते हैं. उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि उन्हें ‘खुशी’ होगी अगर कोई यह दावा गर्व से करे कि वह मुस्लिम, ईसाई, लिंगायत, ब्राह्मण या हिंदू है।
